Gather supplies. You can use metal spoons for this project, but I chose to use (premium strength) plastic.

Empty chocolate chips in saucepan, and turn burner on low. Slowly melt...

Stir often...

Continue to stir until chips are all melted.

'Dip & Swirl' spoon in melted chocolate. Set on wax paper.

While chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with toppings of choice. Set on wax paper to dry. Let set a few hours to dry solid.

After chocolate has hardened, wrap each spoon in individual baggies. (These are made by Wilton, sold in the cake decorating section of Walmart, Michaels, Joann's, etc)

Add a decorative ribbon around the twist tie. Makes a 'sweet' gift, paired with hot chocolate, coffee, whipped cream, etc. To use: stir in cup of hot chocolate, or coffee. Stir to melt. Enjoy!
